About the Fellowship
Teach for IKS is a structured fellowship that places trained fellows in classrooms to design and deliver IKS to children. Fellows receive intensive onboarding, ongoing mentorship, and a supported pathway.

Fellow responsibilities
Teach weekly IKS-aligned sessions mapped to grade-level outcomes. Co-plan with teachers and local knowledge holders. Lead projects, field visits, and showcases for students. Document lesson plans and evidence of learning for the network. Uphold child-safeguarding and institutional policies at all times.

Training and support
Pre-service training in pedagogy, assessment, and IKS foundations. Monthly workshops and peer learning circles. Assigned mentor with scheduled observations and feedback. Resource kits and access to a shared repository of lesson materials.
Eligibility
Bachelor’s degree or higher (all disciplines welcome). Demonstrated commitment to education, culture, or community service. Proficiency in English/Hindi/Regional Language. Prior teaching experience is desirable, not mandatory.
Fellowship
A structured, full-time, nine-week placement where fellows design and deliver IKS-integrated learning in schools and community classrooms. Fellows receive intensive onboarding, weekly mentorship, and access to curated resources. Weekly 3-4 in-person sessions within or outside state
